As stressed by the project partnership, the medical sector of rehabilitation treatments is increasingly faced with the challenges of ageing society, cost efficiency and limited human resources (physicians, therapists). Against these trends, the project aims at creating an innovation-friendly environment (“euregional knowledge axis for rehabilitation technologies – RTs”) for the accelerated development and introduction of innovative RT products such as robotics and sensors in rehabilitation care.
