RANDO-M

The project “Eifel-Ardennen, ein unbegrenzter Erlebnisraum zum Radfahren und Wandern” (Rando-M) plans to improve the tourism offers and infrastructure in the Eifel-Ardennen area, and the overall  attractiveness of the Euregio by proposing actions in the context of slow tourism, regionality and sustainability. The project will focus in particular on hiking and biking offers in the EMR’s nature reserves. As such, the project partners want to work on developing and establishing hiking routes, combining existing trails to single- and multi-day routes, and developing a network of hotels, restaurants and cafés along the routes. In addition, they plan to develop “product stories” for the marketing of the region. The three partners represent tourism authorities from Belgium (two partners) and Germany (one partner). According to the partnership, the actions should lead to an increase of 100,000 tourists.
