Today, we are celebrating Europe Day across the European Union. Held on 9 May every year, this day celebrates peace and unity in Europe. The date marks the anniversary of the historic Schuman declaration which marked the idea of a new form of political cooperation in Europe, which would make war between Europe's nations unthinkable.
Usually, we organise and take part in public events throughout our programme area to celebrate this important date. But as COVID-restrictions are still in full force, we decided to create a quiz this year instead. It will test your knowledge on the European Union, the Interreg Euregio Meuse-Rhine programme, and our region.
